I believe it is crucial to instill a growth mindset in all learners. Social emotional learning is a major part of life as we develop skills to control our emotions, face challenges, and deal with failure. My goal is to use the picture books in this Donors Choose project to have meaningful discussions that help students change their thinking and build a growth mindset that fosters an "I can" attitude. These books will help students realize they are capable of achieving the unthinkable, grow from mistakes, and feel inspired to take risks in their learning.

About my class
