As we get closer to the beginning of school, there is a great possibility that we will start the school year teaching remotely. Children need to be able to see examples of what is being asked of them to learn and process everything we do. When I am in the classroom, I can use a projector, document camera, white board, and much more to deliver quality instruction. From home, I am very limited and will need a large table top easel to write on and use magnetic letters and number. This way I can create some normalcy to look and act like a developmental kindergarten teacher instead of sitting in front of a poster board and adjusting my laptop camera (really, moving the entire laptop and holding it in place) to a paper of whatever object I am using. I can use the letter magnets for letter and sound recognition, numbers and counters to how math problems and number representation, chart paper to write and draw about topics, and colorful markers to organize and what is being written. Thank you for your consideration as we adventure into this upcoming school year.
