No matter what this upcoming school year will look like, I'd love to provide a variety of books to my students. Whether they browse our classroom library in school or I send home books for distance learning, each student needs rich and diverse texts to choose from. It is my first year teaching 5th grade and I'd love to be able to offer more books to my students. I have carefully selected a wide variety of novels that are engaging and of interest to 5th graders. I want my students to relate to characters, as well as expand their knowledge of the world and learn about people who have different experiences than them. Finding a love for reading can be difficult for many children. But, it is my goal to help my students discover stories that they enjoy. Therefore, offering a wide variety of books is key to fostering a love of reading in a classroom! My future students and I thank you for your donation!
