Flexible seating options will allow my students to take charge of their learning and maintain focus throughout the day. My students love sitting around our room. Currently they are sitting on the floor with a clipboard or at different tables. I would love to give my students a more comfortable option. By donating to this project, you will be helping my students increase their focus and attention, ultimately leading to better academic achievement! Flexible seating will also aid my students in getting all their wiggles out. With 5 students in my class diagnosed with ADHD, I know these flexible seating options with help them maintain focus. If this project is fully funded each student will get a fidget band around the bands of their chair. I notice many of my students often playing with things (pencils, erasers, etc) they have in their desk throughout the day. It is my hope that fidget bands will help these students by being able to maintain movement throughout the day.
