I teach in an inclusive co-taught classroom, and I'm looping into 6th grade next year. Quite a few of my students don't have devices or internet or have been doing school work on smart phones! We've been delivering books and other physical materials, but we're not all reading the same thing which hinders our sense of community. The digital fatigue is real and I want my students to be engaged come September but also ready for school closure at a moments notice so we need real books. For book clubs to work for distance, I am in desperate need of book sets that I can send home with students every day so that they do not need to share them (germs!) and so they have a physical copy in the case of school closure (a rest for the eyes). I'm also using this summer as an opportunity to read some new books and get some different perspectives in especially having to do with living with a disability ("Rules" and "Fish in a Tree"). Please help!
