These items will be used to create a safe learning environment where students can access what they need, and it is easy for us to sterilize specific items to keep everyone safe instead of having communal areas of the classroom. For example, students will be primarily at their desks so the pencil bins will allow each student a set of supplies readily available, eliminating trips to the supply area. Laminated reference sheets can be wiped down and used again. Pantry items can be organized so students don't touch everything on the shelf before finding what they need. We work very hard to make sure our students can be independent, and these items will help them to become more self-sufficient as we navigate school in the age of COVID.
