Hi! Thanks for looking at my page and request. I am Resource Specialist in an Elementary School. What that means is, I teach students that have learning disabilities. They have a general education class that they are in for the majority of their day and then come to me for intensive, modified instruction in certain areas. Each student that comes to see me has different needs, different goals, and of course a different background. I work to close the gap between their academic level and the level of their general education peers. We are also a Title I school and overall our district is considered to be a low Social-economic area. Our students often don't have opportunities outside of school that other children may have.
