This project will give me pencils, headphones, sticky notes, pens, hand sanitizer, bookmarks and other materials to send each and every one of my students a "distance learning" care package as we move to distance learning starting on November 30th. We have been in a hybrid model since the beginning of school, but with rising COVID-19 numbers we are making the shift to distance. These materials will help motivate students to complete their work at home, as well as ensure that they have the bare minimum supplies needed for at-home work. This distance learning care package will help students continue to read books, write about what they are reading, and have resources to use for at home learning. Students will use the bookmarks for reading, headphones for our dally Google Meets, sticky notes for writing about reading, pens/pencils to mark up texts, and hand sanitizer if they leave the house to get new books/supplies from school. These materials will get them what they need as we move to distance learning.
