I have 6 students with varying needs. Students range from grades 1-3 and often work in small groups with multiple lessons going on around the room. Sometimes students work on interactive skill sites on the computer and are sensitive to having headphones without cushions on their ears. Sometimes when students have behavior challenges it can get loud in the classroom and students have learned to express when noises are too loud but they don't have headphones to put on to help decrease the auditory input. Sitting still is a challenge for many of my students. They are learning to stay in their own space while sitting at their desks and the carpet. The cushions will help help all of my students attend to instruction and receive sensory input at the same time.
