As a teacher, I am always hoping to find great texts to share with my students to help spark their interest in the world around them! My hope is to fill my classroom with more diverse texts for this upcoming year for students to use during reading, writing, math, and social studies. These books will continue to strengthen the print-rich classroom I strive to build. Each of these books has been chosen to reflect diverse backgrounds and experiences to better connect with my students. Many of these titles have been chosen by me, but several are recommended titles that my students have expressed interest in during the past few months. The best way to strengthen my students' reading foundation is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow in their reading abilities and interests.
