I would love to provide opportunities that allow my students hands on experiences to enhance learning. Technology offers my diverse students an enriched learning experience centered on collaboration, investigation, experimentation, and reflection. These calculators are great to help students to visualize concepts clearly and make faster, stronger connections between equations, data, and graphs in full color. This capability will help to lessen student’s math anxieties. This graphing calculator has an enhanced screen readability with high-resolution, backlit display. The TI 84 Plus CE have the capability to distinguish between multiple graphs and plots with color-coded equations, plots, and objects. Graphs are easier to read by adding grid lines. Key features include but are not limited to a TI Rechargeable Battery and preloaded apps and images. Hands on activities help students to acquire a much deeper appreciation and understanding of mathematics. The collection of real data about the world we live in, to be able to analyze it and present it in both algebraically and graphically makes learning more meaningful. Graphing calculators is a tool that will enhance my ability as a teacher to share my love of mathematics with my students.
