These materials will be used in our weekly projects repairing, diagnosing, and learning about how to properly maintain cars. Every week different cars are brought to the school where the students are taught skills from basic maintenance to repairing brakes, air conditioning, tuning, and repair. Last year I had students that didn't know where the positive and negative cables were on a car and by the end of the year were replacing batteries. Students work in groups while I supervise and give feedback. We partnered with a local auto shop that came in and gave additional lessons to the students.
