I have looked around to consider what resources might help them be engaged, learn, and practice the core skills needed as a first grader and found the Optical Pocket Pen! Students will be able to use the mouse to write on their assignments! They won't have to have a touch screen computer. With this pen all they need is a flat surface. This could help them indefinitely especially as a first grader who needs to practice holding a pencil, writing their letters and sentences. These 6-7-year-olds are infectiously passionate about learning and life.They are eager to explore and are full of questions. I know they will be super excited about their new learning tool!
