This project will lay the foundation for a self-sustaining business. This will teach finance, speech, and promote friendships between special education students and general education students. Teachers and administrators will be given the opportunity to order coffee weekly from the students in my classroom. Through the use of visual task analysis, my students will use reading, sequencing, mathematics, and money to fill the orders, and make deliveries with their peer buddies. The money generated from the orders will be used to purchase more supplies and materials so this project and learning can continue. The mini refrigerator will allow us to keep different flavored cream on hand. The Keurig will allow students to safely follow steps to make coffee. The rest will allow for the materials needed to make and transport the coffee by my students and their peers safely.
