This is an unprecedented year for students everywhere because of social distancing. Students will not be able to leave their desks whenever they like, to go to the pencil sharpener or trash can. Those simple activities give children a short break. Traditional classrooms are not large enough for students to move freely and maintain a 3 to 6 foot social distance. I want to prevent my students from feeling "trapped". I believe that flexible seating, fidget bands and gadgets will provide outlets for stress, extra energy, and anxiety. The effect of COVID-19 on some families has encouraged my school to help provide school supplies. I have added important things to this project to help meet the needs of my students.
