Novels will allow them to enjoy our classroom favorites without adding screen time to our day. My kids spend so much time on devices to stay connected, by having hard copies of the novels I can eliminate the use of digital copies for my class. Distance learning has changed how I connect with my students! I have found that organization is key! Specific folders and zip pockets allow to me pack and send materials to students at home in an organized way. Watercolors are an easy and mess-free way for me to get students engaged in art at home. Last spring, I found that sending home art projects was intimidating for families with limited space. Watercolors are easy to use, cleanup, and bring outside!
