The students in 3R are diverse and amazing and magical (ok not actually magical, but they are very close). My heart is so happy when I see the fantastic learning experiences that students at Monroe Elementary School get to participate in every year. I recently opened my eyes to the fact that our classroom library does not reflect the diverse students in my classroom. When students see themselves in stories, they are able to connect with the book in a new way. Please help me give that opportunity to all students in my classroom!
