Students will be able to see themselves represented in a series of picture/ chapter books and graphic novels. They will be able to see and read about different cultures, backgrounds, sexual orientation and be able to accept the differences that we all have. Many of these books have African American, Hmong, Asian, LGBT, and handicapped people depicted in these stories. There is also books with cross-disciplinary connections with math, science, and the arts. Thank you in advance for reading and supporting this classroom library. The students will be very excited to see themselves and others through these books.

About my class
