The flash cards that I hope to purchase are great tools for students who want to practice skills anytime, anywhere! We have always used these cards in our classroom, in centers, but we have never had enough sets for each child to have his or her own. They will fit easily into book bags and students can pull them out anytime. Parents can use them to quiz students at home. My students have always loved to quiz each other with the cards. Next semester, students will divide their time between home schooling a couple days each week and coming to the school building a couple days each week. These flash cards will be so valuable to students who need practice at home. Our students are tested in the areas of reading and math in the 3rd grade, but love science and diving into subjects. They love school. The science kit I hope to purchase covers content that meets our standards and does so in a fun way with a variety of activities.
