The materials chosen for this project will be used throughout the school year whether in person or online. These books will be used to answer student questions about recent current events and as a way for all students to feel included. As for in person learning these books will be a part of my classroom library. Our classroom library includes book bags for each student to keep four books at a time in their desk. These students will be able to read these books throughout the year. These stories will also be used as an in class read aloud. As for online/virtual learning these books will be used as a read aloud. They may be used for "goodnight story time" where a teacher posts a book for the students to listen to before bed. They may also be used to relate to the history lesson or another subjects lesson. These books will be used to teach students how to take historical notes and use information in their writing as well.
