With the Pandemic happening right now, funds have been cut from the state for schools and my district has new schools opening right now that they are focusing on. I have asked for chromebooks for my artroom to use, but the funding is not there right now. I have revamped my curriculum for the upcoming year with the possibility of blended learning where students will be in school part time and at home part time. With that in mind my lessons need technology to complete. Those students at home can complete lessons online, but those in the classroom would not be able to without technology in the classroom. My class sizes range from 15 - 30 students when things are normal. If I had at least 15 chromebooks, my students at home and my students at school could be completing the same assignments. I have created 18 weeks of assignments that are equal and fair to every student whether they are at home or at school, but would need technology to do so. My school uses chromebooks in all the other classrooms, so I would like to do the same to keep confusion down to a minimum.
