Using technology to assist the needs of my students is fundamental. iPads will assist in creating an exciting learning environment for my students. My nonverbal students will have a means of communication and will really feel apart of our classroom community. The technology will provide educational games and activities that will enhance and reinforce learning in the classroom. On the iPads, my staff and I will also be able to track progress of students IEP goals and objectives. By having iPads, I will be able to give my students the tools they need to succeed in our classroom. In the mind of a child with Autism, they respond much better to images rather than words and every day materials. These iPads will be an invaluable resource for my students.
