The iPads I am asking for will provide my students with the ability to access current apps focusing on literacy and mathematics. We use iPads to support learning on a daily basis in our classroom. Unfortunately, they are several years old and are not able to support new, up-to-date features. I am only asking for two iPads because I realize they are a big expense. My thought is that these new iPads could be used as a center that all students would have the chance to rotate through. For many students technology is the hook that gets them excited about learning. As a teacher, I know I need to engage all of my students and motivate them to be excited about their academic achievements. It is my job to incorporate as many learning opportunities as I can to ensure success for all students. Having access to current technology is a key element in their academic growth.
