Distance learning has been challenging for our students, parents and teachers. Working in a low socio-economic community adds to that challenge. My students are in great need of many resources, but even then, they have shown so much perseverance through these past months and I am incredibly proud of them. I would like to get this iPad so that I can create engaging and meaningful lessons for my students. Distance learning can become disengaging if the right tools are not used. Having this iPad will allow me to use many online platforms and tools to help create interactive lessons, videos, games and assignments. When we go back to our physical room (Hooray!!), we will continue to make use of this iPad in our centers. Students will be able to use it to conduct research assignments and create learning artifacts. They will benefit so much!
