My students and I are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during read alouds, morning meeting/calendar, and whole group lessons. My students need a cozy carpet area that is inviting and a great place to learn. We spend most of our day learning as a whole group and need an area that will keep students enaged and on task during our lessons. Having a classroom rug will allow my students to stay focused on the learning instead of worrying about where or what they are having to sit on.
