I want to give my students the variety of interests that only books can provide. I would love to be able to read at least one book every day with them to gauge comprehension and get those brain wheels turning! Reading to students is a wonderful way to teach the love of life-long learning to all students, regardless of skill level. I want to create a calming space for my students to go and choose a book that seems interesting to them. I already have a large tent and soft place for them to sit, all we need now are the books!
