COVID-19 has completely changed how schools operate. Even once we're approved for face-to-face instruction, students will have to wear masks, socially distance from each other, and keep materials separate. I want to provide my students with a way to keep their materials separate from others' materials, but still at their desks. The seat pockets will help store their math and reading kits. The pencil pouches will store their pencils, crayons, scissors, glue, and other supplies at their desks. This is not how I envisioned the beginning of my teaching career, but I am determined to maintain a sense of normalcy in my classroom amid the unknown. Flexible seating provides students a way to blow off energy and refocus on their learning, and the wobble cushions can be easily disinfected. Please help my kiddos stay safe and focused this year!
