Small groups will collect data that will be shared with the larger class. Video recordings of the actual experiment will accompany this, so students can virtually participate in all parts of the experiment. The use of the sensors helps students build confidence in working as scientists, while also giving them a fun and authentic learning experience. The excitement of this type of learning, with actual sensors and data collection, will enhance the learning of science that is inhibited this school year due to COVID-19. My students will be grateful for this opportunity.
