My first love in teaching is reading and writing workshop. In order to best help my students they need access to a variety of quality, diverse book titles to help them figure out what books they love most. With a diverse book library my students can learn what types of books they love to read, which will increase their reading stamina and love of reading! Research suggests that the best way to help students learn to read, is to have them read independently as much as possible in multiple settings.
