Imagine being able to go anywhere in the world, right from a classroom. The students will be taking both eighth grade Science and another course called Quest for Sucess (very similar to Journey to Careers). Through the use of the VR headsets, students will get a completely immersive experience in the classroom without the need to even leave the room! Students will use them in science to get a more in-depth look at molecular models, laboratories around the world, and able to "conduct experiments" through the VR (without the potential harm of chemicals). For the Quest for Success class, the VR headsets will be used to go on virtual tours to help with their exploration of many different career paths and college paths. This will cut down on missed instructional time due to travel and create an engaging and lifechanging experience for these students. Most of them have never even left their home town. Imagine, now they can take an immersive tour in the space station!
