Our students come from many different backgrounds and cultures and deserve to see positive examples of themselves in the books they read. We are working to make sure that our students see themselves in the books they read for pleasure as well as instruction. Enriching our classroom libraries to have these positive and real life representations in the books will encourage our students to pick up a book and read it. We are hoping to continue to increase their reading abilities as well as their world views. The more the students want to read a book the more they will work to do so.

About my class
