My goal is to develop a rigorous, engaging and accessible middle school science program at my school this year using the supplies in this project! Research shows that the best middle school science programs are fun/engaging and accessible! The materials in this project will be used for in class lab experiments. I have requested safety supplies including goggles and gloves, standard lab equipment including beakers, graduated cylinders, test tubes, high def microscope and scales. Additionally, I am requesting materials to use in experiments such as the click and grows and to provide opportunities to practice applied science, for example, the coding kit. It is so important to get kids excited about science, and one of the best ways to facilitate this is through exciting experiments and activities. My goal is to inspire my students to study science in high school and beyond. Understanding the world and having the capacity to contribute to research is empowering. Help me empower hundreds of students this year!
