I am a first year teacher who just got hired as a first-grade teacher at a charter school in inner city Saint Paul, Minnesota. I am going to be working with primarily low-income ELL students. I am not given a stipend or a budget to help fund my classroom. As a first year teacher, I am seeking many basic school supplies to help put together my classroom for my students. I am seeking diversity and inclusion books to help put together my classroom library with books that the students will be able to read! I am seeking hands on STEM manipulatives to create morning tubs for the students to hand the opportunity to learn through being actively engaged with materials.
