I teach in a low income area and would like to introduce more literacy into my classroom. I have dreamed of having a classroom library for a while now. I was fortunate to find some donated books from the local library and from former teachers. A book case would make a difference in my students’ learning by allowing them a safe place for independent reading of books that will peak their interest. My goal this year is to provide my students with an organized library for them to enjoy and explore different genres for reading.
