Since I will have a new classroom, having a cubby for students to put their stuff in will make it feel more inviting. In addition the round table will give us a chance to work in small groups. I can differentiate the teaching to help the level of the students. For example, when we are writing a narrative, the students that are struggling can sit with me at the table and get individualized help. I can also sit with the high achievers, and help them with figurative language and character development. Either way, the group table is essential for small group work.
