With the use of these magazines, my students will be able to read about how math and science are used in everyday life. They will be able to learn how it is used in different contexts as well. I want to use the magazines to help engage them in the math and science concepts that are being taught in class and help them be able to imagine themselves as mathematicians or scientists in their everyday life. My hopes are to be able to further my students' curiosity about the world and begin to picture themselves doing some of the things that they are reading about in these magazines.
