My students range from high to very low income families. My classroom is a mixture of grades 9 to 12 and also a variety of learning levels and styles. It is a challenge every day to make sure sure all my students are being given exactly what they need, especially now that we are entering into a very strange year of face to face plus distance learning. My students will be stressed about being in school amidst the virus, or they will be stressed about being at home trying to learn without my physical presence. My goal is to make this year as stress free as possible for them so they can learn as much as possible. Their mental well-being is so important to me!! They become my children when they enter my room.
