Help me give my students table-top music stands to use when we are playing rhythm instruments, recorders, handbells, ukuleles, or boomwhackers! It is very frustrating for students to try and read music when it has to lay flat on a table, on the floor, or in their lap. Following musical notation is an important skill for all of my 3-5 students. Regardless of which instrument or combination of instruments a class is using, being able to see the music while playing helps develop good hand-eye coordination. Having the music clearly visible on a table-top stand also permits students to see the director more easily, thus improving their ability to learn to follow the director's lead.
