We are lucky enough to get a new art position at our small school. We will now have a dedicated high school visual art teacher and one for middle school-that’s me! Since this is a new position there is nothing currently in place for my art room-bare bones. My students need some basics to help the art class be successful and productive for them. I am trying to get them some essentials that I can’t afford myself. I want to create a wonderful learning environment for them to experience art. Your donation would buy a drying rack that would allow ups to paint the day away while giving us a safe place to store them. We also need brushed and paint containers. I have been saving every plastic container I have come across this summer but would love for them to have true art supplies. With these materials my students will be able to experiment with a variety of paint techniques and express themselves creatively.
