Our world is changing, and fast. Each year, online learning is becoming more incorporated into our schools, so we need to blend traditional teaching techniques with modern curriculum. This is why it is crucial that we acquire a smart board for our Media Center. This screen will help teachers, students, and parents to navigate these difficult times and later will facilitate future learning goals! Our school needs this item for a number of reasons. The most immediate need, is to help with remote learning. Teachers can use this board to make videos explaining how to navigate the internet and complete projects online. This would help parents, as well as students! Also, when students return to school this board will be a great tool for teaching online research. It is difficult for young students to follow an arrow on the screen, they need a teacher to physically point the way when navigating the internet. Our students lives were turned upside-down this year, funding this project will help them prepare for what may lay ahead.
