As an ELA teacher, I am always looking for engaging texts to grab my students' interest. Life of Pi, written by Yann Martel is an engaging adventure tale that will introduce my students to modern world literature. As an ELA teacher, I want to teach students to love reading. In order to do this, it is important for students to have the ability to read engaging and relatable texts. The ability to share engaging texts is even more important now, during distance learning. Because of the lack of resources in my school, students exposure to new texts are limited. Please help my students gain exposure to incredible stories.
