When transitioning to a play-based kindergarten, many extra opportunities arise, but, with those opportunities, supplies are needed to help encourage thinking and learning and to make things fun for these students. Adding a multi-functional table that can be used for LEGO, sand and water will allow for many more learning opportunities for the students. The more opportunities I can provide throughout the year for these students to learn in different ways, the more successful they will become. I also want to include flex seating for students who need more opportunities to feel comfortable learning. Not every student learns in the same way. Providing opportunities for them to sit and learn however they feel comfortable will allow them to be more successful in their learning.
