Being certified AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) means that the staff have worked very hard in specific teaching strategies that not only help elementary academics but future careers in general. We follow a 5 step teaching model that we base all our lessons on called WICOR. The 'O' in WICOR stands for ORGANIZATION! LIFE is much easier if you are organized! These chair packs will help students quickly and efficiently get and put away their most needed school materials through out the day. If students are taught organization at a young age, we believe that skill will travel with them as they continue on through school and beyond into life. Since my team mate and I share students, we both hope to add them to our class.
