Remote learning can be engaging if students are provided with exciting and challenging activities. Learning virtually can be a major adjustment for any student and requires motivational activities and resources to help keep students interested and involved. Students with autism require material to be exciting, stimulating, and engaging in order to ensure continued interest and task completion. Hands-on activities that assist our students in achieving their goals would prove extremely useful and productive. Judging from past experience with using Teachers Pay Teachers and Boom cards, I have received positive feedback from both parents and students as to the engagement and reinforcement these activities provide.
