Having books for students to read at home will decrease the time they have to be in front of the screen. Students need supplies to continue to write and complete art projects at home. During this pandemic is important to engage students in different learning activities that can develop their fine motor skills to improve their writing. These materials will also help students feel accomplished, specially when they get their graduation hats and their graduation gift, the books about first grade. The glue and construction paper will help them in the art and end of year projects. These materials are needed for my students to complete the school year and have reading materials during the summer. They need to read every day during the summer to maintain their reading level. This will also help the household save some money for other needs like food.
