Special needs children learn in unique ways. Last year, our second graders could not read the word cat. Once we started using Fundations and Wilson, their reading levels jumped from a Level A to a Level G in one and a half years. I want to make sure each child receives this type of instruction way before second grade, so we are not playing catch up! Every child deserves the opportunity to read. Very few teachers specialize in teaching children with dyslexia and I just need the right materials to ensure success. I need the FUNDATIONS teachers manual and student workbooks, the Wilson workbooks, and other Orton Gillingham materials to teach the program such as large sound cards. These programs were specifically designed to teach children with reading disabilities, such as dyslexia. Without these materials, I can’t really teach the right way. Thank you so much in advance!
