Children learn must naturally through play. A sensory table appeals to the kinetic learner who needs to manipulate different sensory items like sand, rice, or water. Learning to identify and sort letters hidden in sand will keep my students engaged. Kindergarten students come to school with many stories and background knowledge learned from home. Role play with family figures in the wooden doll house will help them learn social skills as they interact with their peers. I would greatly appreciate any of these classroom treasures to enhance my learning stations.
