This project will provide a projector so that I can interact with my students in their remote learning experiences. The projector will serve as an amazing tool that I can use during my numerous Google Meet sessions to enhance my students knowledge of health and physical education, therefore serving a dual purpose. Currently, I am teaching remotely from my house. I meet with students daily for physical education class. As a part of the lesson I play an exercise video and complete it with my students. As of now they are only able to hear the video and watch me perform the skills. How fabulous would it be if I was able to connect my laptop to a projector and show the video on my wall? This would be a wonderful tool for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. The Physical Education lessons I am providing to my students are directly connected to the standards below. 10.4.3A: Identify and engage in physical activities that promote physical fitness and health. 10.4.3B: Know the positive and negative effects of regular participation in moderate to vigorous physical activities. The objectives of my physical education lessons are to engage students in moderate to vigorous physical activities in order to maintain/improve cardiovascular and muscular fitness. My Health Education lessons are directly connected to standard 10.4.3 Comprehend concepts related to health promotion. The objectives of my lessons are for students to understand basic concepts around personal space in order for them comprehend its importance when interacting with others and recognize how personal space impacts daily life in order to recognize why they should keep their hands to themselves. Once we return to school, my awesome students will benefit immensely by having a projector in the gymnasium that is dedicated solely for our use.
