Students in Mountain Vistas' Special Education programs will experience cross curricula learning in science, health, ela, and math by taking on a garden. This garden will be their responsibility and will be used to help provide fresh fruits, herbs, and vegetables to our families who receive food from the school food pantry. Not only will this help develop social skills such as patience and empathy, but it will help provide nutrition to our families in need. This garden is such a win, win situation. The goal amount set is everything we will need to provide our students with a safe space to learn about caring for things while helping their community!

About my class
