My students have had so many ups and downs this year. I want to give them the opportunity to be creative as they showcase their year through a PowerPoint presentation/ essay. Some of our scholars have lost family members to COVID, a lot of them come from poverty, and most of them don't catch a break being at home all day with their siblings. This project is a way for them to express themselves and still learn how to put together a professional PowerPoint presentation as they progress into the next grade level. With the computers, my scholars will put together slides that include videos, pictures, and their favorite moments during the year. This is also an opportunity for them to creatively write their last essay of the year.
